Belize Cacao Symposium..32 Days & Counting…

Apr 6, 2019 | Symposium

32 days and counting until our very first Sustainable Specialty Agriculture Symposium in Belize. And we are super excited!

The event is taking place on May 9th to 12th, in Punta Gorda, Southern Belize.

We have special guests, chocolate makers, keynote speakers and chocolate experts flying in from Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Panama.

Coming all the way from Japan we have a group of 7 chocolate importers, distributors and chocolatiers travelling a very long way to join our event.

They are excited to meet our team of farming and cacao experts, view our facilities and meet the native Maya cacao farmers as we continue to build on our newly developed, budding relationship in Japan.

As well as the speakers we also have attendees coming in from the US and Europe while the AgroNosotros executive team will be coming from Panama to join our local Belize team.

For thousands of years the Maya people in the Belize region have produced world-class cocoa. In fact, Belize is the birthplace of the noble cacao varieties Criollo and Trinitario.

Belize has some of the best cacao in the world and the world wants our chocolate. But for years, a steady, reliable channel to market has not existed.

Now it does and it is time to put Belize and Belizean fine flavor cacao back on the map!

We are extremely proud to be hosting the first ever Belize Sustainable Specialty Agriculture Symposium, presented by Peini Cacao Plantation Ltd, an AgroNosotros Company and we would love to see you there.

Come join us for what promises to be an unforgettable occasion.
